Temeljem raspisanog natječaja Općine Šenkovec za dodjelu bespovratnih stipendija za studentsku godinu 2023/24 dodijeljeno je 7 novih stipendija u iznosima od 55 i 80 eura, ovisno o mjestu studiranja, koje će studenti primati mjesečno. Nakon što je 2019. godine Dječji vrtić Vrapčić Šenkovec dograđen s 300 četvornih metara novog prostora, početkom 2024. godine započet će se s rekonstrukcijom njegovog starog dijela. Rekonstrukcija obuhvaća izvedbu fasade, zamjenu stolarije, elektroinstalacija i dotrajalih podova.
